Well… things are coming along nicely here at Belle’n’Paws.com. We’ve got a structure in place for the site and a vision as to how we’d like to see the website someday. The site is by no means close to how we see it, once it’s come to fruition but the website has got a structure in place that will help us build to the next level here.
We’re going to be adding resources and help sections that relate to our own experiences and we needed a structure to set that up. We use WordPress here at the site for general structure of the content here. Setting up the website in such a way that is navigational and functional can be a challenge because it still has to keep its charm. We believe we’re on a path for that.
Still cleaning up images to remain consistent throughout the site. We feel we’ll be adding more resources within the next couple weeks. There’s several stories and website sections already in the works so you may see them start to pop up here as we move along now. Setting up a website takes time and if you haven’t got time to spare, the whole endeavor crawls along. However, the website does crawl forward.
We’ve set up a new section that will allow visitors to quickly access our family and keep themselves updated if need be. The blog section will also serve as a gateway to any pet we add here to the site. We’ve had many pets come through our doors over the years. Some pets have passed away and are no longer with us.
They will have their own section too because inevitably every pet we’ve had, has had some kind of issue. No reason not to document that issue and how we handled it, especially if it helps another owner who may have had the same issue. That is the goal here. We want to help others who may have had issues similar to our own pets.
We’ve also removed the “Under Construction” notices around the site because inevitably they became the problem. The notices became almost like “billboards” that had to be worked around. Well, not any longer. We also have been exploring some more advertising opportunities to support the site here.
So, you may see a creep up on the activity concerning the advertising already in place here at the site. We hope it’s not an inconvenience. We are trying to maintain a non intrusive way to have access to the content here at the site while at the same time creating a revenue support structure. We are a work in progress.
